Thanks to Tori, Chris, and Larry at Excessive Motorsports in Manassas, I am finally more than just an appearance modder!

Detroit True Trac: INSTALLED!
FR 3.73 gears: INSTALLED
MMR CAI: INSTALLED!
SCT XCAL2: YOU BET!

So, what were the result of months of patient waiting?

Keep in mind that the tune is for 87 Octane, Manual:

At WOT, my Torque Shot from 55 to 237 at 2500 RPMs!!!!! The line goes straight up and plateaus until about 4000 RPMs!!!

HP climbed steadily (at about 45 degrees) to max out at 205 @ 5300.

Bottom Line: RWHP 205 and RWTQ 237!!!

Not bad for an N/A with single exhaust! Just wait until I throw 93 in there!

Robert

P.S. Kind of anticlimactic after Belial's post, but hey, it put a smile on my face!!!

Holy Crap!!! 205 RWHP, right on man!!!!! I bet you are grinning from ear to ear. You've given me something to shoot for. Guess Excessive really is good with the SCT. I can't wait for next wednesday.

Hows the car handle, I know it was wet pavement today due to the melted snow but did you notice any changes in daily driving.

Yeah, Chris is good. Took me from 198 to 201 to 205.

The car handles very well. Didn't get too crazy with it, but merging on to 66 to come home, I could feel how strong 3rd gear is now. The rear end just feela alot more stable (could be placebo effect) and the car feels more powerful. The CAI made it sound a little deeper and the tune definitely made it more responsive. This should keep me happy for about 4 months. Then LTs and duals. Chris and Larry said that when dynoing, they could find little to any difference between H-pipes and X-pipes (lucky if it is 1 HP), and said to choose based in sound. They weren't sure if the Prochamber would dyno more or not.

Excepcion13,

Did Chris and/or Larry speculate what your numbers should look like with a dual exhaust and some LT's? With the proper air flow modifications couldn't we see another 15HP?

They said that Macs have come a LONG way in quality and that the JBA STs are way overpriced. They said that the LTs are the way to go but gave me no numbers on them. I am pretty much convinved that I am going LTs as the STs are just not worth the investment for an increased sound. Still up in the air about which exhaust to get. Some higflow cats, the LTs, and the Prochamber would make for a sweet setup, I think. I DO like the sound of my JBA muffler, though! I think it would really smooth out the sound and make it very distinctive.

Cool! Did they say anything about LT's and pasing emissions around here? I hear even with cats LT's will cause you to fail.

I'm not sure. I beleive that either Tori or Larry said that they could, but you can always clarify on Wednesday when you go in and try to stomp my dyno runs!!!

Cool, I'll let you know. And honestly mod for mod I doubt I can catch up to you with you having a manual....unless of course I get a new tranny, like a C4/5 setup. Hmmmmm...........

I will be happy if I can come within 5HP of you.

Just aim to break 200. You may be surprised with what you end up pulling.
