HELP: '07 V6 brake rotors needed replacement at 38800 miles?
Make sure that whenever you get your tires rotated that whoever does it is using a torque wrench and isn't putting the lugs on too tight. If they tighten them to tight it will flex your rotor away from the cae starting at the top. It's like when you punch a pillow in the middle of it the outer edges collapse around your hand. The rotor being the pillow it collapses and the brakes will consantley be "on" causing wear and tear and a lot more costly repairs.
On another note is your car auto or standard? If it's standard you could do a lol more engine braking (down shifting coming to a stop) and that will save your brakes! Make make sure you do this correctly by not shifting down into too high of rpms.
Just my .02 if you need anything else just ask.
