There are different types of software for the Xcal2. If you have the Live Load software, available free from www.sctflash.com you unlock the user adjustable parameters on the unit and can change many things. I got my tunes already set with my gear ratio, etc. Doug was very good and sent me updated tunes when I changed gears. I'm not sure if you can keep the same tune you get initially and just reflash and change the gear ratio. I would think that's what you can do but maybe someone else can help answer this?
