the code that the dealer got was something with the Torque Converter :notnice:

and i have a Montego as a rental...comfy but no power

they said it wasnt replicating anything, and it hasnt shifted hard or anything since the light was blinking

they are keeping it at least till tomorow

i hope i get her back soon

At least it's getting sorted out now, instead of at 36,001 miles.

 

My Explorer cost almost $3,000 when that happened so you better this happen under waranty. Let Ford pay for a new tranny, infact I would insist the Torque Converter be replaced. They will tell you the transmission will need rebuilt too.
