Hey guys i just wanted to know if now would be a good time to change my spark plugs.

i have 50,800 miles and just flushed my antifreeze and had to replace the thermostat gasket..(because i waited waaaay to long to change the antifreeze) and was wondering if now would be a opportune time to change the plugs

If you have the coin, change them. In my older rides the plugs looked like AZ at 45K-60k. Mind you the car ran fine, just why my the spark jump that fire because it can ???

Better to OVER maintain the not all all.............

The Owners Manual refers you to the Scheduled Maintenance Guide. You can either look there, or you can visit http://www.genuineservice.com/

Check Radiator fluid every 15K, Replace at 100K.... There you go... Mine was fine at 60K when I checked (remember, Its a gold color, not green)

As far as Spark Plugs go, again the Scheduled Maintenance Guide says replace at 100K. I replaced them at 60K, three were great, three appeared to be running a little hot. I paid 2.80 a piece for plugs online. Just look around, they are not too hard to find. Local dealer wanted $8 a plug, ouch

Hope that helps!

[edit: Oh yeah, keep in mind that "Driving Conditions" will adjust when you should do things. My driving conditions are Normal, which is what the numbers above are based on. YMMV ]

When you replaced at 60K, did you have any issues with the plugs separating?

The stupid champion one piece are like 18 a piece. That is an ouch. But this spark plug issue scares me.

Did you have a shop do it or do it yourself?
