SCT all the way!

There are 3 co. on there who are highly recommended for tuning the 05-06 Mustangs.

BamaChips
BrenSpeed
Alternative Auto

These guys are the most effective and once again the most highly recommended by many of the members on here.

What all does a tuner improve.... and by how much.. I know the main reason i'm getting it is to weave out the hestiation when you stomp on the gas.. but what else does the tuner offer.. And will i have to reset to stock settings when i take it to the dealer for service?
Thanks again..

This is what the tuner does:

Fuel Adjustment,
Spark Adjustment
Clear Trouble Codes
Axle Ratio Selection
MAF Selection
Tire Size Selection
Fuel Injector Selection
Idle RPM Adjustment
Cooling Fan Adjustment
Traction Control On/Off
Automatic Transmission Shift Points

It improves just about every part under the hood for max performance without the restriction of the stock settings.

And yes, to be on the safe side of things, reflash your ECU back to stock when you take it to the dealer.

And yes, the special V6 tunes all work on severely reducing or eliminating that nasty hesitation when you mash the throttle. The higher octane tune you go - the more the hesitation is eliminated.

You really won't go wrong with a tune from AlternativeAuto. Check them out, they're good people and have a excellent product.

again, duh SCT2 all the way. I have brenspeed and i was quite pleased with it. on my 91 tune i ran a 14.91 at the track with only a tune, and then 14.73 with a K&N intake and tune (not specific for K&N, same 91 tune).

My vote is for Lidio , with only gt take offs and the 89 tune i got a 14.92 @92.25 with 2.20 60 ft times on the first pass without shifting manually. The car feels so good in everyday driving, it will downshift very quickly if u just press a bit on the acelarator, no more using the O/F Off /On button.
