I called up like 4-5 dealers and they all told me that its gonna take almost 2 months for an 06 model V6 if I make an order in the mid of June (thats when order guides gonna be available) So, I can't really decide -- should I wait or just get 05 model....??? Decisions...decisions....!!!!

Im sure you can find the combination out there right now in an 05 that you're looking for. I dont think Ive heard of anyone having problems finding them, really. Not much is really changing in the 06, and everything they do will still be retro-fit, so itll be adaptable to our 05s. I say if you can do it, go ahead! Start enjoying your car!

Use FordDirect.com to search your area, there are quite a few V6 coupes around and some verts too. Now if you want the Pony Package, you might want to wait for the '06. From what I hear, it might be worth waiting for. I know I'll be doing the grille conversion as soon as it's out!

Since it's so late in the model year maybe you want to wait untill August and see if you can get a really good deal on a V6 that has a lot of them in stock and wants to make some room for the 2006's coming in.

Ford will probably raise the price for the 2006 Mustang. How much they will raise it compared to the increase for the GT remains to be seen. But, that's another factor that you should consider.

Myself, I just couldn't wait any longer! Had to get it!
