Ok I just got home from having my 2005 V6 Mustang towed to a shope because it wouldn't go. At first it would turn on then almost cut out and rock around then shut off. After a while it just wouldn't start. I'm thinking a fuel pump, but I'll have to see tomorrow. Anyone else have any problems like that or is this like an isolated thing? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like what my car did after I got in my wreck. There is an emergency fuel shut-off feature that disables the fuel pump when the car is jarred severely. I had to hit the reset button to get it to start normaly. I am not trying to say that this is what happened to you, just that it is most likely a fuel pump problem since what you describe is similar to how my car acted when the fuel pump was disabled.

Just a note for anyone else running into this, the reset switch is on the drivers kick panel, and the simple procedure to reset is in the owners manual. Shame to leave a 'Stang sitting for a day and half when there's so much Summer cruising to be done
