FRPP Chrome differential cover

Is this chrome differential cover suitable for the V6 axle?

I heard with this cover on, you won't hear the rear axle whine anymore

Fits an 8.8 inch rear end unless you've swapped for an 8.8, the 2005+ V6 mustangs have a 7.5 inch.

Don't they already have a chrome or shiny cover on them?

Yes they are shiny (aluminum) and they look like the one in the picture.
