Hey guys, just as a little heads up I have some info for you.
A few months ago I swapped out the front sway bar from the stock 05 v6 to the GT takeoff bar from Saleen.
Recently I was getting a very bad rattle whenever I went over a bump of any size. No noise when turning and the car still handled nice and tight. This was one loud rattle though. A quick peek at my suspension revealed nothing and I started to think that maybe an exhaust hanger broke and the exhaust was banging around. That is how loud it was. I dropped the car off at the dealer and they found that the right side sway bar stabilizer link was worn out. I only have 16,700 miles on the car. Thankfully they replaced it under warrantee and my car is now blissfully silent again.
I was wondering if the GT has different sway bar links. If so I may just go ahead and order them. I wonder if the thicker sway bar is putting too much pressure on the V6 links. Anyone know if the links are the same?
