I installed the Ford Racing (Borla) exhaust on my car last night.

The sound is pretty good (not as good as my '98 with the MAC dual y-pipe kit).

I am not sure if I like the size of the tip that comes on the new muffler. It seems like it looks like something that belongs on a Honda Civic or something.

Anyone else got any thoughts? I was thinking of taking it to a muffler shop and having them put a new tip on it.

That tip would look pretty darn silly on a Civic with "Ford Racing" stamped on it

I don't have one, but have seen one on a V6. Thought it looked pretty good myself

I have a Ford Racing exhaust installed on my car. In my opinion the chrome tips look abso-freaken-lutely awesome! I don't think it would look or sound nearly as good with a smaller tip.

Yeah, maybe I am just used to seeing the 2" tips instead of the 3" tips.

I think I will need to try and re-align it as it is rubbing against the side of the bumper and has already melted part of it.

A 4 inch tip looks great on the GT BUT you have to have it centered and if it is melting your bumper cover I would take care of that asap.
