Wow what a powerful Team PowerHouse will be, the name DREAM TEAM comes to mind unbeatable if you ask me I never realized it till just now. Like hamdlt likes to say EGADS! Next year now a little tougher due to some leaks from the Vortech camp per their own team member some guy called Scrming ??? Hmmmm but we would have to look to our big gun RYGEN to carry the torch which shouldn’t present much of a problem as long as his plans stay on track, if for some reason his plans fall though we have Fazm waiting in wings should we need him and the rest of us should not have a NO problem mopping up the rest of their team with ease since we have plenty of big guns on are team.

I am going to predict something team Vortech and team Procharger will most likey form an alliance under the extreme pressure that will come to bare on them but still I see no threat or anything to worry about guys.

Ok TJ, I think Fazm and MM49 will take the top slots in the long run. MM49 is already doing awesome NA and once he gets a turbo, its over. Same with Fazm, he has ton of track time...only thing holding him back once he gets the turbo is his elevation. And don't forget PR, he is a track junkie!!!!

E-13 shows promise, he can drive Jez like he stole her, I wonder if he did!!! LOL. He will master his launch, I will drag his *** to the track and he will kick ***.

John claims he will be in the 13's this summer, but hes putting down 300+ rwhp and he has a purpose built track car. He can hit 12's on this setup. I think he will hit 12.94 this summer!!!!

Let's get it on. But remember, Scrming has that no 1 slot and we need to take him out of it first. LOL.

11.65 vs 11.85, the PHP car, that is 11.65 w/slicks, and a gutted track car. Do that to a PH turbo car, and you will see the PHP car get the **** kicked out of it every day during the week.

Also, the PHP car in hot weather situations, slips back up to the 12's while the PH turbo car stays in the 11's even under those climate situations.

I'm sorry, but pound for pound the turbo will always make the best power. When you look at the very top drag cars, they are all turbo cars. And the pro track cars that are not turbos, are Prochargers.

However, all of us are using our cars as DD. So, we will all reach a limit to how far we are comfortable with going, probably low 12's. Not sure, and when you are talking 12's on a DD, the Turbo or SC are both capable of it.

The size of the Impeller of the V2 is truley a site to see.. Lets look at just a few facts..

Current fastest posted time goes to the V2.. Regardless of setup.. No excuses.. The current fastest privatley owned 2005 V6 Mustang owner, chooses the V2.. The biggest impeller design is on the V2.. The highest rated RWHP goes to the V2.. 410RWHP LOL!!

Its ok, I'll support you either way Jimp.. I just hope you get some type of boost soon.. LOL! Of course the PH Turbo is insane, and the curve is intense.. Really hard to pass up the curve.. I'm sure whatever decision you make will be whats best for you..

 

actually broke that in my 05, havent busted anything yet on the 03. The 03 has yet to be launched hard because of the half shafts that i KNOW will break on a 5k launch.

Also, im not as crazy as you think, i probably wont run more than 12psi at the track

 

Regardless of setup!!! Setup to a point does matter, we all use our cars as daily drivers.

Now, I don't doubt Scrming one bit, he knows I don't. But I doubt he will rip out his back seat, his AC, and up the boost to borderline levels to get into the 11's.

Do you plan to go on a chinese food run in the dead heat of summer without your AC? I don't. Do you plan to rip out your back seat, and lose the capability to take your baby to a dr.s appointment? You put up a cool post on how to get a baby seat back there. LOL.

Also, if it were not for your Vortech sponsorship, you would be saving your pennies for that Turbo, spraying the juice to hold you over until you could get it. I remember reading how you were definitely getting the PH turbo.

Also, put slicks on the PH car, and the slight edge the PHP car has, with higher boost and optimal climate conditions will be lost in less than 11.6 seconds. LOL.

Bring it. But the ultimate setup is the turbo. Even the GT guys will admit that.

 

Yes, the turbo makes more power, period. not to mention it makes it at lower rpm, so its safer on your engine. Yes the PHP car is faster than the powerhouse car, but the powerhouse car gets driven almost everyday by the shop owner, just so it can be called a daily driver. The PHP car is a trailer queen.

Rygen sir (think we should refer to the #1 guy with sir when talking trash) until I see faster time slips you are the big gun. I am well aware of some of Fazm plans but not sure on the details or the when this will be taking place if Fazm would like to share either here or in a PM I am all eyes. This is why he is in the #2 slot right now Rygen sir you plans over the winter sound nice to me and knowing you that could even change to be more deadly. Rygen if I may offer some advice to you do not underrate yourself because I sure don’t, I see you as #1 or #2 in your future next year same as possible for Fazm.

On a side note I have no intell on MM49 I know he performed N.A to be one of the faster ET’s and am glad to have him aboard but have not heard to plans as in dept as you and Fazm

Yes you have nailed it on the head it is ingrained in me I know no other way of shifting in competition even if I tried to or wanted it wouldn’t happen, as I am sure with many if not most MT drivers.

Yes Scrming is a concern and could surprise this year! but should be able to keep him in check with out a problem this year. Now next year is where I have more of a concern of Scrming thats where the big guns you and Fazm will have to shine!!

Someone was that MSP again, made a comment about a frontal attack?? Hey when we come we will be coming with overwhelming force frontal, right flank, left flank from the rear if you look up for help we will have some F-15 strike eagles keeping an eye on everything so don’t worry about the frontal attack worry about everything else.

and ya mm49 is quite good, but we dont have very many details other than he is his own tuner, and runs nonstreet tunes at the track. I go to the track run the same tune i drove to the track on, and leave the track with. I wont be posting any really good times for a while, as 105 degree weather and 1243 ft make it hard to do so (even still, ive hit 14.56 in the last 2 weeks).

Ok... LOTS of info here in the last few days... going to take a bit to digest! LOL!

Way back when Lidio thought a Vortech would be a good fit... So that was always on my list... after RIDING in the Powerhouse car the Turbo was definitely high on the list too... Now... being that I spent a bunch of money on the motor swap but budget was stretched pretty thin... Basically put the turbo out of my price range... The Vortech was in my price range and really fits well with our long term plan!

While the Turbo is probably a better setup the the centri. Vortech... The vortech is still going to a blast! LOL! And I'll still be surprising some unexpecting V8's with my no-foglight front and single exhaust!!! LOL!

BTW.... BRUCE CAMPBELL RULES!!!! COME GET SOME!!!! LOL!

 

Yep answered some of the exact questions I had, and long term = higher psi w/ s/c.

 

I'm a wild card! LOL! Well, I can't keep it a secret like those other guys. I'm getting the turbo. I've wanted the turbo since day one. I considered going the less expensive route and getting a SC, but the more I thought about it, the more i knew i'd regret not getting the turbo. I don't want to argue about which one is best, i can only tell you that the turbo is best for me. It will put me solidly in the 12s at low boost and in the 11s if i get brave and crank up the boost. With forged pistons, we're talking 10s. So maybe next summer when scrming is shooting for 11s i will be heading for 10s. Of course, talk is cheap so believe it when i do it. That's why i haven't said much because I don't want to be all talk and no action. So yeah, I'm spending the extra money and getting the turbo. Just waiting for Fazm and Mike to nail down the group buy price. And i'll be spraying the intercooler at the track, fyi. Keeping the Zex. So there you have it, all my cards(well almost all) are on the table.

That being said, I think the Vortech is excellent also. I had even considered going that route at one point. It's kinda funny, I'm the guy that made the "Power Adders Thread" to help others figure out which power adder to get and I couldn't make up my own **** mind.
