im a 6er and automatic raced my friend from college i raped him at launch from a stop sign to stop sign. a little under 1/8 mile. hes got a 5 speed 2005 rsx with cai, exhaust, and some thing he said called kpro not sure what that is but man im happy i thought that vtec was going to take me.

 

rsx type s right? hondata 'k-pro' is a programmable ecu.

interesting, now i know wat to expect out of an rsx. i thought it woulda been close.

they are slower than you would think, i have beat many

tsx's are the faster ones...never raced a tsx before

 

Awesome win, nothing like racing friends for fun. Not all are that slow. 5 speed is only available on the non-type s version. That engine only puts out 160hp stock. Those mods put him closer to you though. The one that will give you a run for your money is a type-s, which only comes with a 6 speed manual (no autos) and has 200-210hp stock. Most people don't have the type-s though because it only came as a stick. Why do I know all this? My dad and I kinda like them because his 02 Integra gets about 32-37 mpg and its like a giant go-kart. Nothin like the Pony Package though.

i got to say it was a type-s i sat in it and saw the 6 speed with the type s carpet he took out the badge outside

 

oh and to blackmustanggt07 yes 210hp but remember which is the only reason i won is the off the line torque 240tq compared ot i think 160 thats huge even with me being heavier and his vtec well technology.

 

Even better kill then! Torque definately comes into play, and on that field, there simply isnt any competition between the two. I wasn't trying to downplay your win, I just didnt have the right info.

 

Nice job! With the Vortech I almost got beat by an RSX Turbo... I started pulling away around 100MPH... But he almost got me..

funny that guy is puerto rican in the rsx so am i you guys have to see the things that get done in that island like the worlds fastest rotor 7sec 1/4 mile..if they havent hit 6 that is....

 

Hey MSP, how much money does he have wraped up into that RSX v.s. what you have in yours? You should be able to lay him to waste when you get the twin turbos in yours.
