Hey Afixer, Thanks for all your information on this. I had mine installed yesterday using all the information you provided (ford gt pipe and ebay x pipe) and I gotta tell you they charged me 150 bucks and I was so happy with the work they did and the sound I tipped the guy that did the install 25 bucks. Can't wait to get the SCT2 and the CAi installed

afixer,

I'm in your rear-view mirror too So far I have the dual GT-take mufflers and the ebay X-pipe. I'm working on getting the other parts...

Can anybody recommend a source for the driver's side pipe? Shipping is an issue. I live in NC...

Can't wait to "imitate" your exhaust, too

call around to a few dealers and see who will give you the best price. you need the 2 brackets (same as right side) left pipe and the 4 screws. the bolts are (W500222-s439) just happen to have the bag with me.
just have them look up the gt on the confuser and its all the left side stuff. good luck . they shipped my pipe from back east to my dealer took 2 weeks.

You can actually find enough extra bolts while removing the right side V6 muffler to do the left side brackets.

THe V6 muffler has 3 brackets, vs. 2 for the GT. If you unbolt the uneeded bracket (the one that doesn't match the other two) you'll have two extra bolts.

There's a rubber damper assembly also on the V6 muffler. Removing the bolts from that will net you the remaining two bolts required to install the GT hangers on the left side.

The existing bolts will self-tap into the mounting holes (they have a small unthreaded tip that helps get them started), just be careful to start them in straight.
