Dual Exhaust Conversion - Vibration
I have a question regarding the conversion to duals for the V6...
The stock setup had a balancer [weight on bracket] on the long run of pipe under the passenger side. That had to be removed to run the driver side pipe.
For those of you who are running the x-pipe into the duals, did you have any issues with vibration? Did you re-use the weight anywhere on the exhaust to help reduce the vibration? If so, where?
We're having this issue and need some help. Thanks...

Well we stopped by the shop tonight and the Stang goes back in tomorrow morning. Turns out it looks like the band clamps may have loosened and the system shifted. The mechanic will tighten everything up again and a couple of tack welds on the clamps to hold it. He also stated the vibration is in fact coming from the x-pipe so he's going to try and fabricate a bracket to hold the balancer. Guess we'll see how it is tomorrow night...
I don't have any of the stock dampeners on my duals, the only vibration I have is a slight buzz right at 2100 rpm. Otherwise no problems. I was told by Kevin at Clevenger that it is a major engineering exercise at the factory to determine where the balancers should go, so moving them to new locations probably wouldn't be effective.
