Do the plugs need to be re-gapped?
If so to what.

so i guess i missed the most of this post.so 48prerunner, did you use the granatelli coil? i was the guy on allformustangs in that link with old coot. the demon coil and livewires have been very good this last year, no regrets. the testimonial on the performance distributors site is from me, with my stock ( dirty)engine bay. i offered them some nice pics but they just wanted to use those. so i`m wondering how this other coil and wires worked out? its been a while, but if i recall the livewires are 300 ohms. i was under the impression that any less ohms would not do any better, and could possibly cause some interference with the computer system. any thoughts?

sounds good. i wish i could have sen the testing. i been running the demon and livewires for a year with bosch fusion plugs, and been real happy with it. the news of this site crashing spread pretty fast around all the other forums. thats sad if it was hacked. its tuff starting over again so i thought i would jump over here and try to help out, maybe get some more v6 threads going

I'm getting 26 -28 and that's up and down the mountains of NY. going down i get about 32. Mods I had at the time the Granatelli motor sports coil and wires plugs gapped to .60 , fram airgrabber air filter, and a single gt take off muffler. When I installed the coil and wires i picked up .9 on my 0 to 60 mph times with a lot of wheel spin.

Other mods on the car a Hurst shifter with pool hose fix, don't think that affects mileage lol, and a cervini b2 chin spoiler.

I now have dual exhaust off a gt didn't change anything except looks and sound a little.

This winter i installed a frpp cai and a diablosport tunner with a jlt tune adjusted -18% on the fuel curve. Only got one quick run between snow storms but car is faster didn't hook up the g force gauge but hit 60 way before the car did before (I use the same stretch of road to test). More testing if spring ever comes supposed to get 2 feet of snow on top of the 10" we got yesterday.

oh I forgot put in roush springs also last snowday.

A while back, Granatelli released our new 2005-09 Coils and o ohm wires for the V6. We now have inventory.

Just out of curiosity, what type of plugs and gap would you recommend if I went with this set up......is it available from the website or do I have to call to order?

Please place order over the phone - 805-486-6644

They work great with teh facoty plugs and facotry gap - although you can spread the gap an additional .005 no problem

Thanks for asking

Norm1961 If you can get the cash together I'd recommend it. I have over 10K on the coil and wires now with only good results to report.

I'll have to take some new pics as the site crash wiped out all my pics.
