I added this a couple weeks ago, but just got around to taking some pics of it. It's a small mod, but I think it looks cool. My wife doesn't like it, so I guess it's not for everyone. It was an easy install- remove the shroud over the top of the grille, pop the grille out, remove the stock pony, put this one in and slip the compression fittings on and reinstall the grille and shroud. The one problem I ran up against is I could not get the stock pony off without breaking the mounting pins. The compression fittings go on one way and there's no easy way to get them off the pins. The pins are plastic (molded into the emblem), so any little bit of pressure and they shear right off. Unfortunately I will have the same problem if I need to remove this one because it's plastic too. I plan on putting either a GT grille or a Pony Package grille on, so I will have to figure something out. I think I'll try to cut the compression fittings off with a Dremel tool rather than try to pry them off whenever I get to that point.

I like it a lot! My intuition was that it would only look good on red, white or blue, but it looks great on the black. Nice addition.

Yup... the stars and stripes pony IS definitely a great mod. It's one of the first things I added onto my Mustang after I picked it up in January.
