Sorry to hear that! Glad you are O.K. though. Mine got trashed 4 months ago when an old lady ran a red light....and I still have not gotten it back. Best of luck with the insurance companies.

Did it deploy the airbags? If so that will be considerable $$. Glad you're ok though.

the lady that hammered me was 83 years old. her insurance has payed over 16,000 so far in repairs. I got a new hood, front fascia, fenders, new front suspension, etc. If they have to replace the K member try and get the BMR. It is tubular, and very light and strong. It has been a nightmare so far though...

Ouch, sorry to hear about it , think about some mods, new hood, front end, HID's etc.
I took this chance to add a new hood after a valet hit a truck with mine. Body shop said "we're getting paid to put parts on, makes no difference to me what parts go on I still have to do it". Any parts I supply, I get that price back for the quoted price.
here are shots after the wreck ($12,000 in damage) and the new hood going on it. Also ending up with stripes on the bumpers too.

Yeah, figure $800-1000 per airbag just to replace it. Granted, they are lifesavers and probably saved you from injury, but they are expensive to replace. Hopefully you were the only occupant and only one deployed.

Airbags/cars can be replaced...people can't.

Not how I would have wanted to start my week. I am glad you wrote this and not the old lady or a member of your family. Now go get it repaired!

Wow, that looks pretty severe. Glad to hear you're okay. There's enough pics in this thread to make me want to cry.
