cam follower ratio
I am trying to find out the cam follower ratio of the 4.0l sohc. the manual from ford says 1.98 but v8 guys use them on the gt500 and gt supercar and they originally have 1.8:1 ratio. they use are's because they oil the cam better apparently. I have some custom ground cams from crane and want to find out the ratio before the motor goes together. more eyes hunting the web the better. ford was of no help at the dealer. as usual.
