There are alot of aftermarket brakes out there like Brembo and EBC. And there are probably a lot more. Which perform the best? Which gives you best stopping power for your buck? I know very little on the matter and would appreciate soem insight, thanks

can't help you with the brake upgrade, but can offer some valuable advice on the oem (or any upgrade that you might do) brakes: bedding in the brakes. do a google search using those exact words if you're not familiar with the procedure. it's kinda fun to do and is an absolute necessity for modern brake systems to keep the rotors from warping.

What about slotted or cross-drilled rotors? I know that's a bit more involved, but wouldn't that help brake fade and decrease the distance as well?
Does anyone know of any companies manufacturing something we could use? I've spent TONS of seat time, and I really notice the fade on the the brakes the more I drive the car. I'd LOVE a good solution for this problem.

There's been a few magazines out there that site the stock 4.0L's tires aren't that great... better shoes would descrease braking distance.

I think the tires are only rated for 115MPH.
