Which Brake Pads?

My 2006 still have the factory pads on it, but the brake dust is really bad. Does anyone have any ideas on another brand of pads that are good on stopping but low on dust?

Go ceramic. Hawks are good, I hear.

Try BAER Decela-pads, I have them with BAER drilled and slotted Decelarotors and I love them. Not too pricey and great stopping power

Ill mention Carbotech too, just to give you some options, though I have no experience with either them or Hawks yet. Carbotech makes mostly racing application pads, but their 1521s are for the street, minimizing dust and eliminating noise. Theyre a little pricey (~$130/pair) and I believe you can only order directly through them via phone currently, but they sound dam* good, rated to like 800 degrees IIRC. Talked to a tech who was very helpful and I decided on the 1521s for street and will switch them out for a track pad (cant remember which off hand for the Mustang, but Ill edit later) when I can finally get out to Lime Rock this year. (Woot!) Will report back my findings.
