Blower for 4.0
#1
Will those of us with the 4.0 be able to get a blower in the future or will the new 3.5 make us the bastard 1 year engine  . I know the exploer 4.0 blower kits wont work for us, and those who wonder why I didnt get the GT to start with.
1. The wife didnt want to sign on the line for the GT.
2. The dealers here were selling GT's like hot cakes for 3K over MSRP.
3. There were no Auto GT's here, as the wife refuses to drive a cool 5 speed plus rush hour stinks with the manual.
Also I would like to know where these cold air and pulley sets for the mustang 4.0 are I keep seeing mentioned, as my searches have only turned up goods for the Ranger/Explorer?
Although the tech guys at V6 Mustang claim they have a SCT tuner for the 2005 Mustang 4.0 auto.

I would think there will be some aftermarket tuner shop that will have blowers for our cars. 60-65% of all Mustang production is V6 engined, so I think it is a safe bet.
That was one of the reasons (Other than being a bargain!) that I opted for my car.
BTW, where did you hear of the new 3.5 being offered?

I recall that in late 2003 and part of 2004 we were wanting and hearing that ford would put the 4.0 in as th e v6 and that the 2006 model was going to get their new 3.5 duratec dohc v6. If anyone remebers this and has details please feel free to chip in.

i'm not sure about the 3.5... i heard that in 2 years both the V6 and the GT were going to get a minor jump in HP... but i'm not sure how reliable that is either
