I have 36K miles on my 2005 V6 and it is getting to be time to replace tires.

Does anyone have some recommendations for good 16" replacement tires for our Mustangs?

Just a thought: For not much more than you'll pay for replacement tires; if you search the net, ebay, etc., you can buy a set of 17" tires AND wheels off a GT that will bolt right on to your car. I was able to by a set of new GT Deluxe wheels and tires for around $400.

 

Sounds like a good option. Where did you get yours? Did $400 include shipping?

 

Wouldn't you have to flash the computer to recalibrate the speedo for the bigger wheels?

EDIT: My bad, just looked up the specs on the tires, looks like they are almost identical in the rollout (revs per mile) so no reflash necessary.

 

No that did not include shipping. Fortunately the seller was only 150 miles away and I was able to drive down to GA and pick them up. So, my advice if you go this route,, find a local seller that will allow you to pickup.
