Sounds like a good deal! If you're starting a list I would definitely be interested.. hehhehe...
How would this work, say if you already have replaced the alternator pulley? Now keep in mind that I have the 4.10 gears so I'm cruising at a higher RPM than normal..... so PS and Water are spinning slightly slower while alternator is spinning quite a bit slower but engine is cruising at higher RPM.... thoughts?
You may not notice much while driving, except maybe slightly more steering effort while parking. The alternator could still keep the battery's charge, as long as maybe you aren't going crazy with that Shaker at idle for a really long long time
For the AC it may not click off as much too keep the acumulator charged, so the AC will remain ok.

I don't think it's too much too sacrifice if any to even notice imo.

well, i've pulled the Shaker 1000 Sub and Amps out already... Had to make room for that 2nd bottle... LOL

And ummmmm.... the wife will probably go balistic..... but you know I really only used my A/C once or twice last summer... hehehehehe

There's no way Im giving up my A/C or heating. I live down GA mind you, and its sticky hot heck here in the summers. 95% of the time Im in the car the windows are down -the other 5% its raining. I dont always use the A/C in the summer, but I need it sitting in traffic. Now why would I wanna sit here and sweat and stick up a nice new car? And get it all sick and sticky? Bad idea hehe. I cant really see this being done on a daily driver -not the bypass anyway. Now if you wanna talk about underdriving it, im all for it.

I haven't opened the hood to really look... but how hard is it to change belts... Put the short belt (A/C delete) on for the track and put the long belt on for daily driving... ????

I have no idea.. ive never done a pully swap myself before. Ill check it out later if I go out towards my car.. and I need ciggarettes... so I will be..

Either way I dont get to the track very often, so it might be worth the work if its as much power as we're estimating and less than an hours work or such and such. I spend that much time taking the subs/amp out of my car every time I go anyway lol

Hey, its not like you can run A/C in the staging lanes anyway.. right?

For me, I think it's wise to wait on underdrive pulleys until some of you in some of the hotter states use 'em for awhile in the summer.... then, I'll get a clearer idea if they're right for my ride.

The Ac should be fine, i had pulleys in my 00 GT and never had Ac problems, and here we have 92+ degree wheather year round plus himidity is always at 80%plus. If they gave this things any though at all we should be fine, i doubt we will get the 12hp they claim , but they should help.

UPS delivered my C&L today! Doug's X-cal 2 should arrive tomorrow!

I'm hoping I'll have time over the weekend to install.

Hamid, be sure to let us know how it is. I've got the same set up as you do except for the dual exhaust and I'm waiting on my C&L and tune from Doug also.
We just got a few inches of snow here so I probably won't really get to try it out under ideal conditions until spring! BOO HOO!

theres a 99% chance im going to be putting that pulley on my car, and i can just use a slightly different belt if i feel like running the a/c. The belt takes a whole of 3 minutes to take off and back on. i might even get that alt pulley too, since its easy to do, if i wanna go to the track i can swap it out right before.

In the summer here its usually 100+ for 3-4 months and 110+ for a month or 2. So i definately will be usin a/c. Theres only bout 1-2 months here where u dont need it at all (unless its a freakish day)

I got my C&L as well, but my x-cal 2 was just shipped this morning so I am just looking at the C&L lay idle in its box. Waiting is real hard lol, and hopefully it is worth it as I have been stock for too long.

ManE... I hear ya... waiting is very hard!

The quality of the C&L appears to be really quite high (at least from an unassembled point of view.)
