I just installed the Shaftmasters today - great change. The car is running much smoother now, no vibrations, and it seems to feel quicker - I know it went up to 85 mph easily and before I even realized I had hit it. Before I always had a strong vibration when it would hit 80 but it is completely gone now. No vibrations at other speeds either.

Definitely well worth the time and money.

I haven't changed it yet, but after looking under my car when they were installing duals, I couldn't believe the surface rust on the driveshaft! The installer said he'd give Ford hell and that something should be done soon before problems start.

How much do Aluminum driveshafts run?

There are a variety of places to get them, I got mine at Shaftmasters here in Michigan. For the V6 they are $386 and for the V8 they are $495:

I have the powerhouse411 4" aluminum driveshaft. It made a huge difference, with less vibration the most noticable, not as much et drop as I would of liked, but still a great part.
