If so, what do you think and could you post sound clips.

Thanks,

LisaJ429 posted a clip of her single jba axle-back... scroll down a bit and you'll find it

JBA products are on sale at v6mustangstuff... they beat summit's price.

Thanks for the links.

Just wondering, how does this compare to borla, magnaflow, etc spec wise?

Each axle-back will have their own unique tone. They're all more free flowing than the stock muffler and will probably each have similar gains. I have the jba duals and they sound snazzy. I've heard others compare the jba single to sounding like a small block V8... though, I've never heard one in person.

I had a single JBA before I went to duals. Liked the look and sound.

Excepcion13 also has dual JBA's with a prochamber, MAC LT's and MAC high flow cats. He is very happy with the sound. I need to meet up with him this weekend or week to make a sound clip for him.

From what I heard they are only said to give a 4hp gain But look at my numbers, I know I have a manual but that would mean my MMR intake gave me like 12hp. I dyno'd in at 202hp and 232tq with my x pipe exhaust JBA duals and my mmr intake.

before the performance tune too

Ok. I've narrowed it down to the JBA and the Borla/Ford Racing.

A. What gains do you get JBA vs Borla and second, does anyone have a couple GOOD clips of the Borla without any other mods on the car?

Thanks,

05 black

The JBA axle-back was my first mod, liked the sound and style. As far as a performance gain from just the axle-back I didn't notice any difference.

I think I will be going with the JBA. Someone came by work today with a champaign color V6 today and had the JBA on it!! I listened to it and liked it.

Thanks for your help guys. Any tips on installing it? I'm a noob to working on cars but want to learn.

Install is very easy. Just unbolting the factory clamp and hangars, then reversing the process with the JBA.

I PM'd you about my JBA that I just took off. Let me know if you are interested.

I am not sure about HP gains, but I love mine! It looks great and sounds better! The only problem is that I don't have two of them... That will be done later...

Is the JBA not too loud inside the car? On highway at 3000 rpm is it confortable?

I'll probably get one by the end of this month beginning of next. I have a buddy of mine trying to convince me to get JBA headers now.

JBA axle back is installed
Great sound outside, more agressive, more muscle car like
inside between 60 and 75 mph on highways it's louder than stock muffler; more bass waves and it drones a little bit....
But it's a good choice my V6 sounds more sporty
