well you are only .01 seconds off my best time lol. you dont have very much further to go.

Well last chance for street cars was this month until next year. Here's a video of the runs I made.
Firebird Night Fever Oct '05

The CAI I put on since last time dropped my ET by .2 sec.

My new personal best is
60' 2.35
1/8 10.373
1/4 16.11
MPH 85.24

I have a stock V6 except for a K&N Drop in filter and have an automatic. No tunes or anything else. So here's a baseline for you. My best times (Temp around 90; calm; altitude about 550') were:

Rxn Time: 0.677
60': 2.243
330': 6.739
1/8 Mile: 10.255
1/4 Mile: 15.756
MPH: 88.917

It was a "Test & Tune" night, but it was still fun beating the 'Vette I was paired up with off the line. He didn't catch me until almost the 1/8 mile mark.

The heat is killin your time it looks like. Maybe its just the auto though. Cuz that 60ft is 2 tenths better then my 15.4 run. I to raced a 70s vette when i was there last, he beat me off the line, but i ended up runnin a 15.5 to his 17 flat lol. Those 150hp vettes are killer :P

EDIT: they have 165hp in those year lol (1975)

This 'Vette had more power than that as he turned a 14.11 sec at 101 MPH.
I held the brake and run my auto up to about 2000 RPM for launch. Seemed to do away with the factory induced hesitation.

Yea your Altitude and Temp play a big part in your ET and MPH. My track is at a whopping 2700' above sea level so I'm actually running about

15.59 at 1/4 mile
88.12 mph

converted for sea level per the NHRA website.
