I know a bunch of the guys on here are running an AFE CAI w/ a tune. Just wondering if they are all custom tunes or if there is someone who sells a pre-loaded tune for the AFE CAI.

 

I searched for a custom tune and couldn't find one. But, mine was developed with my CAI and exhaust at Excessive Motosports. I'm willing to bet Chris will give you a good price on it to sell it to you.

George at RPM Outlet asked me to send the factory tune backup file for my car with the AFE and the Diablo tuner. He said he would make the mods and send it back to me set up for the AFE intake on the V6; this is the 'custom tune' advertised with the package on their site. He said it was necessary to have my original backup to make the mods.
I e-mailed it to them on the 4th of January and am waiting for the reply with the modified tune for my Diablo. Will post the results if/when I get a reply. If it works I'll be satisfied. Like I told him, I just want the performance gain advertised with the package. It would be unreasonable to expect any more than that, but I do think it's a fair expectation.
