"Pending" just means they didn't hold up releasing it for the other 49 states while they're going through the certification process for California. Not an uncommon practice in the performance parts industry at all.

Thanks to the great write up, I ordered one and got it on the car last week. Here's how it looks on mine. I love it-

I had a MAC CAI installed this afternoon. No tune needed but do follow the instructions exactly. Once installed you need to run the car for 25 for the computer to reset itself. If you do not take the time to do this the check engine light will come on. If this happens remove the negative battery cable for ten minutes, then replace the cable and restart the car and let it run for 25 minutes. Then have fun resetting all your colour choices, clock, radio stations etc. It looks great and the sound of the air flow is really good.

Niiice...looks great with the polished radiator shield

And Poldrv's comment about pulling the battery cable and letting the computer "re-learn" the engine management holds true for any engine mod. A good idea if you add any CAI, aftermarket exhaust, etc.

Just had my AEM Intake put on this past weekend. At first I really didn't notice a difference, but then I turned the O/D off, and the traction control off...opened it up. Noticed that she took off the line much quicker and accelerated much quicker. Now for some duals and a reflash!!

I was very close to ordering this intake, but wasn't too happy with only 10 HP with the tube, might wait and see what comes out in the next couple months.

It's a beautiful looking intake, which honestly is going to figure into my purchase... plus hp gains. I really like the looks of the C&L for the GT... waiting to see what it looks like and what it's gains are.

I bet the AEM will get more hp out of a tune.

Was an easy 30-45 min install. Looks awsome under the hood. So far I can't tell a differance, but I have not had a chance to get out and stomp on it yet.
