Acceleration

What are some inexpensive way to improve my acceleration on my mustang? Throw anything out there! Thanks!

Tuner and if the money is there, throw in a CAI. Probably easiest way to gain power and you can do it all yourself.

Thanks will probably have to be my next thing to get! I'm currently saving money for some sequential tail lights. I've wanted then for so long just never had a $140 bucks to spend on them. Or when I do I'm looking to get something else!

Has anyone had any experience using the wireless tuners for their cars?

I'd start with a tune, as all of your future mods will rely on it as well. I just got mine tuned, and it made a HUGE difference. I also got a CAI, but only because I got a good deal on it. I'd never pay full price for one. Aside from that, I'd say do a gear swap. I'll be going with 4.10's and a limited-slip...Just trying to decide if I should swap the whole rear end already, or hold off. But I suspect gears will make a huge difference either way.

Edit: I've never used the wireless tuners, as I just couldn't justify the price. But I'm sure it's just as easy to use as the regular tuners.

I have the ITSX and it's really easy to use. Plus has all those extra features you can mess around with. Save up for one. I recommend it.

Gears are the easiest. And are relatively inexpensive. You won't feel any gains from CAI. Tuner will go a long way, and as stated will be needed for later mods if you ever go further than the basics.

gears are relatively cheap but they gotta be expensive to install since for most people, they need a shop to do it. So it ends up being an expensive mod. Someone correct me if I'm wrong because I'd like to do gears but think its going to be expensive with install.

You can probably expect the install to cost, at least, as much as the part. Probably even more. But it's still "relatively" cheap compared to a supercharger/etc.

Although it's less cheap, when you're also considering swapping the whole rear end...

Yeah thats true. I wish I knew what 4.10's felt like. I have 3.55s in my gt right now and its great too me. I guess if I felt what a ratio like that felt like, I'd be more inclined about getting them.
