MSP,
What size are you looking for? I can't seem to find them in 17's, which is the size I prefer. Howerver, they are in 16's all over the place. Here is a link:

And here are some 18's:

If you want to go full retro, you can get these good year nascar wheels to give it that mustang mach1 look:

Good Luck!!!

@Jimp and Scrming
Isn't it more than likely that Powerhouse broke the spiders on the 7.5 T-LOC because he obviously did not give the rear-end friction modifier oil to be used, the proper break-in time for the rear-end, while at the 150Shot level on slicks?
Has there not been a rush to judgement on the FR 7.5 T-LOC? After further deliberation on the suubject, I am convinced Powerhouse did not follow a standard breakin period recommended by Ford before putting to much torque through the rear-end.. Its understandable that Powerhouse did not have the time to do this, because he needed to start R&D.. But no one can prove without a doubt that the T-LOC cant handle 450Ft lbs. of torque from a dead-stop launch on a properly broke in differential... In fact, I am willing to bet the differential had seen less than 500 miles before the 439ft. lb launch which hurt the spiders on slicks..
Actually, I'll even take it one step further.. I'll bet Powerhouse didnt even use the Friction modifier oil found in this .PDF..

He seems to know his stuff. I'm sure he did everything right but it was just too hard of a launch for that diff. The girdle may be a big help, I don't think he used one. If you want to be sure, spend the extra $$ now on a TrueTrac. You may end up breaking more than the diff when it goes. JMHO, FWIW, YMMV.

Look in the Rear Axle/DriveShaft section..

Hey Jimp, so this is the pricing debate your talking about! The 8.8 Rear-end assembly is $800 bucks.. So now the debate can fully be understood when discussing the appropriate direction to take.. Keeping in mind, the more expensive you make the 7.5, your losing its overall value, as the price nears the cost of a brand new 8.8..

It would be roughly $800 to upgrade the 7.5" with truetrac, gears, girdle and the panhard bar relocation bracket. With the truetrac and girdle, I believe the 7.5" would be stronger than the 8.8'. That's the direction I plan on going in the near future. I'm putting GT sway bars in this weekend.

Was at MRT yesterday, as you know... Got to talking to Scott about the rear end... I mentioned the girdle... he quickly pulled out the adjustable panhard and said they will have a relocation bracket so the the clearance for the girdle will be no problem...
But he made an interesting point... how much heavier is the 8.8 versus the 7.5? hmmmm... ????

The 8.8 is said to be 30% stronger than the 7.5..

The 4.10's will be a fun gear to have for sure.. I really cant say one way or another which is the absolute best thus far.. However, I do know the 4.10's must be tamed somewhat.. Once you have some type of power adder mixed into the equation... But it will definatley be a gear which requires the rest of the car to be setup around.. Which pretty much means to try and leave the rear-end somewhat soft..

I just received my TrueTrac and am going to get it put on next weekend (I HOPE!!). Going almost to Culpepper to have it done! I also bought the 7.5 girdle. I am sticking with my 3.31 gears, though. Good fuel economy, good performance, and should be able to hit 60 in 2nd gear safely. Should.

Will I need a panhard relocation bracket to add a girdle? I thought I read that somewhere. If so, i do not have one and I was planning on placing the girdle next weekend. Know where I can get one?

I think I will wait until I go Turbo before I change the gears!! If I go Turbo in 2 years, then I will definitely switch up. Until then, I commute 70+ miles a day and LOVE my crusie control on I-95(and the MPGs I get with it).

Yeah.. As you already know, the 3.31 gearing is still really effective.. The conversation has almost implied that with some type of Power-Adder, the need for a gear change is not too evident..
With the Turbo, I doubt you will even think of changing it..
The numbers lool like this at 150MPH with 3.31's.. @ 150MPH in 5th gear your looking at 4448 RPM with 27in tires...
In 4th Gear @ 150MPH your looking at 6178 RPM
In 4th Gear @ 150MPH with 3.73's I'll be at 6962 RPM! LOL!! So I think its easy to see, that while we will have fun at the drag strip or Laguna Seca, we'll have to call upon you to race the Vipers and Vettes at Daytona! LOL!
All this is with a Turbo package which should hopefully garner us 350-RWHP on an average day, and 400RWHP with tunes..

Here are some great tires guys!! Looks like these will make their way into the 7.5 T-LOK with 3.73's.. mikem, a member here says they will launch a GT at 4000-5000 RPM... Which means, these are perfect for us V6 owners with T-LOK action..

Yeah, my current wheels are 26" inches tall.. However, I just noticed those are 18's.. I would like to also add a link to some 17" drag radials.. I figure we only need to buy 2 tires for the back..
That should make a huge difference being able to lauch at 4-5000 rpm.. LOL!!
Also yes our Stangs can run a 305 size tire no problem..
Also, in your case Scrming, these are exactly what the doctor ordered.. I cant even imagine what your car will do with such tires.. I cant even guess on what the time you would run.. I am positive the tires could get you into the 12's with the 100shot though, for sure..
