Well, I own a 2005 Mustang v6 (Black Premium)
Current Modificaitons:
I'm overall happy with my car... What would some Future mods be that would dramatically increase performance?...I'm taking baby steps to making my car a sleeper..

the 0-60 for the stock cars is not actually 6.9.....infact, it was recently measured by some magazine (not a mustang mag either....like a Sport Compact type mag) to do it in 6.3
the biggest thing you could do is to f/i your car. if you dont like that, you can go for an agressive gearing, LSD, and pullies

that's a pretty **** good improvement. like chris is sayin, without forced induction, i don't know how much more power your going to be able to make without doing major engine mods (cams, heads, etc) besides the usual intake and exhaust mods. But with turbos or an s/c you'd have to beef up your internals anyway.

And I have been daily driving with a 14psi pulley for quite sometime.. 355RWHP...
Its possible you may need to do alittle catch up on the S197 V6's.. They are alot beefier than you think.. Actually, they can handle more boost than a stock 3V 4.6L..
Ever heard of someone who owns a GT, which took the motor to 23psi and the motor lived to produce a readable dynosheet? The GT should be able to maintain 450RWHP as a daily driver no problem however.. So its still a great motor.. I dont know about you but 450RWHP is really all you need in my opinion..
Whenever you think of the S197 V6, understand that it has been to 23psi and back.. Safley..

I didnt say it hadn't and I am not ranking on the 6cyl, I think its a great option for the stang. I just said I wouldn't recommend it. I am not saying the v8 is better at handling boost either. I'm a little worried about adding boost to my 4.6. It's more of a longevity thing to me. In NE for the most part 450rwhp is too much for most people. These roads are awful. I guess its however long you want to keep your car. I would turn green if my car had a 4-5000 turbo/supercharger on it and the block was worth nothing after I blew a hole in it, or a rod went through it.

which of course is just your personal opinion... no solid facts to back it up.. just your feeling... ok...
