Rick,

Amazing results, most impressive. I'm pretty sure you are the fastest NA that we've seen thus far. Well done.

Congrats Rick! I'd like to see you and Fazm duke it out....Fazm I really wanna go down to AZ dyno chip now and get some estimates on some dyno time...Another question, with already having a tune from Doug @ bamachips, is getting a dyno session and tune going to be worth it or what????

My buddy and I are going to Firebird on March 10th also!!! Hes gunna see what his 04 Titan can put down and Im gunna see what I can do in the stang. lol We should definetly hook up, i got it marked on my calender so im going for sure. We can compare times with your gears and me with out gears. They were telling me at ADC that they did a 05 mustang, manual with a exhuast, intake, and a dyno tune of course and they said he was pulling 14.5's with no gears. That seems a little low, seems like a kick hiney driver lol. I guess we'll see though. I just hope I can do a 14.7 14.8 at least. How old are you guys if you don't mind me asking? Im 23

I would do it just to see the results. I think you will see a inprovment. Its not the same when you load tunes into your car that were dyno tuned for other cars. lol It just don't make sence to me and never has. When Keath at ADC puts your car on his dyno he'll see what your car needs air/fuel wise and he will be able to zero it down to your car and how your car reacts with the muffler you have and the intake you have. What you loaded from Doug helped but one of your sensors could be saying that it still needs more air and less fuel. Doug don'nt know that cause he don't have your car there on the dyno with him. Doug knows a base average of were it would be but not the exact presice spot. Like Keath at ADC would have sold you a SCT2 with preloaded tunes in it so you could load them your self but the results of taking the car to him an having him monitor everything while doing runs is alot better. Like if Doug would have actually thrown your car on the dyno you would most likely got more out of the SCT. Not every car is the same if you know what I mean. Like if Fazm had the exact same intake I had and exhaust I had and goes and gets his car done he might be at 215hp & 246tq sae instead of 213 & 242 like mine was. All engines are off by a little they will never be exact even though its the same motor.

But all in all Yes go and get it done, they will do a dyno before with your preloaded tune and see if it needs to be adjusted, see if they can get more out of it, tweak with it a bit then dyno the results right there in front of you. Or they might just load the stock tune and do there custom dyno tune on it and see what it puts out, they probobly wouldn't mess with Doug's tune at all. By the way ADC has 1 out of 2 dynojets in AZ that can take a full size truck. It's a $140,000 dynojet. Its the real deal over there. He'll explain it to you. It does all wheel and rear wheel & front wheel I beleive. call him or just go down there and check things out. There cool like that they don't mind if you hang around the shop.
