2006 V6 Mustang Exhaust?

I want to put a true duals on my V6. If I can get an H pipe can I use this system on my V6? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Borla...spagenameZWD1V

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you could use that system on your V6. You will have to buy a stock GT h-pipe though as that what the system is designed to fit with. Another option for you as a V6er is to just buy the mufflers, then have an exhuast shop just simply bolt on the rightside muffler to your existing exhaust, and fab you up a leftside exhaust pipe with leftside muffler and then they could easily just custom a hpipe crossover for you. I think this option would be significantly cheaper than going with the Borla mufflers and cat back pipes ans well as having to buy a GT h-pipe. If you buy all that it will cost you 710 for the Borla catback system, 100 approx. for the GT h-pipe, then you still have to pay for labor, so figure at least $1000 for all that together. If you just buy the Borla mufflers (or the FRPP mufflers which are the exact same mufflers) at around $350 and pay around $300 for an exhaust shop to do the exhaust piping and custom h-pipe. That way you'll pay a lot less and have the same results. I had custom piping done and a custom h-pipe when I had my 06 V6. I took the mufflers to the shop and they did the whole job for $290 and it sounded great. With all that saved money you can put it towards a CAI/tuner! Good luck and let us know what you decide on. Welcome to the forums by the way!

to save money you get the h fabricated then you get from rpmoutlet, and the motoblue exhaust section for the gt, you get the 2 midpipes for 100 and get the 400 dollar axlebacks instead of paying 700 for all of it. actually if you want borla just get the fordracing gt axlebacks same thing but cheaper b/c no borla name markup

I used the same method as Torchredv6 except that I went with GT mufflers which I bought on eBay for less than $50. Including the GT midpipe, FOMOCO hangers and installation and H pipe, it cost me less than $250. With this setup I can change mufflers at a later date if I choose to very easily. However, with the sound and performance I have, I'll probably keep what I have.
