Cecil County Test and Tune. Nice Cool day, P275 BFG DRs, My son and I did ever thing to keep it cooled done today. We wrapped the MMR intake tube-this helped a bit keeping IATs down, and we iced the intake on the first run. Car was very consistent all day. 14.32 , 14.36 , 14.48

I don't think there is much left in the tune without race fuel and turning off the knock Sensor and even then its only small gains... I am happy with 14.30s until the Turbo goes on !

And Yes the timeslips are posted in the Time Slip Area. LOL

Yes launching is a little difficult. We tried it several ways. Against the SCT 2 step at 4000 rpm to 4700 rpm. The problem with the 2 step is it pulls fuel on a random injector which tends to surge the RPM and if you launch on the down side of that limit it bogs badly. So our best launchs were done without the 2 step and just holding 4800-5000 and dumping it... Yes I am sure there is a weak link and we will eventually find it but at the moment it works and doesn't bog much and hooks preatty well. I would be curious to see how 4.10s or even 4.30 gears would launch with the lower power but sticky tire.

Not going to worry about it. Turbo coming soon and being able to launch and carry a little boost off the line will help tremendously with the extra lowend TQ.

We might consider a NOS setup while waiting on the Turbo. Upgraded Fuel System, 39lb injectors and a Zex Wet NOS... Ummmmm ! That sounds like a plan .

I will be going with Mike's kit at Powerhouse. Are there any other Turbo kits out there ? I really have not looked that hard.

I had already committed to one prior to the Group Buy and I already have most of the all the supporting hardware so to speak. Fuel Upgrade, Injectors, etc. So I am getting what would be a tuner's kit but I do apprecaite the offer.

Thanks,
