05 4.0L dropped valve

Changed out the "Hurt" engine in the Screaming Yellow Stang this past weekend. With both motors on engine stands side by side to change over Alt. / AC/ PS Pump, took about 10 hrs. with power tools. It helped that the 42k Salvage yard motor had all brackets and wiring harness (parts) attached. Harness was cut but all plugs were still attached. Only glitch is bleeding stupid clutch slave cylinder. plastic line from master with plastic coupler between. Mr. Ford, what in the crap were you thinking? The next clutch change, I will buy a stainless brake line with the proper connections and go from master cylinder directly to the throw-out slave cylinder. I was going to keep the old motor for parts (only $100 core) until I pulled the pass. side valve/cam cover. The back cylinder had a broken spring a loose rocker and no valve. I was in the cylinder and the head was cracked all the way across from the piston achieving top dead center. New engine roars like a Lion (maybe Bobcat)

Thanks, Sometimes dreading the job is worse than doing it. Power tools and a good friend makes the job easier.

Glenn, is the aluminum drive shaft a one piece unit or a two piece like OEM?
