Still looking for the length of the MRT tips (for stock cans), anybody know?

 

Thanks Robert for the indepth explanation. I like understanding the technical side of items I might put on my car.

Since I still have time I will wait and see what other exhausts come out. I think we once had a link on the site that had links to all the sound clips. I will have to look for it again....

You getting the Chrome or the Black Chrome ?

I'm curious how the Black Chrome would look like.

Overall length of the MRT tips with taper is 5.25" (bottom) and 6.5" (top). May not be 100% accurate but very close, as this measured installed on the vehicle.

 

Ive read on a couple sites a H pipe gives a better sound then a X pipe. Also they used Resonators after the Cats, with Flow Master Delta 50s. Said to be a little louder than stock with a deep big block type sound at all rpms and loads.

 

I'm happy with my regular exhaust, but I'm getting my new set-up really soon. There's nothing wrong with the stock ones and they sound really nice...I just want mine to sound Purrrrfect.
