Im wondering how i should go about installing an XM antenna, like whats the best way to go about pulling out the factory unit to get at the antenna plug in back. Should i just use a kit to get it out? or any suggestions? Thanks

 

at first i installed mine through an FM transmitter just like ur looking to do. i took the whole dash apart to get to the antenna plug and when i was done for some reason i looked under the dash on the passanger side. and staring me in the face was ANOTHER antenna plug for the actual antenna!

so if you want to do it INSANELY quick w/o taking the dash apart, look under the passanger side dashboard (where your feet would be) and youll see the antenna plug. unplug that, plug into the xm fm transmitter and plug that back into the antenna and ull be good to go!
