From reading another post ,it looks like diablosport will beat SCT on this.I think I will wait and see what happens.

i would love an SCT 2 with a K&N tune, then when I get the tune I can take the trap out, you think they could make one for those with the trap in it as well?

Out of curiosity, what is the significance of the hc trap being in or out with the K&n and a tune?

I'm on the fence right now, the availabilty of a K&N specific tune coupled with an XCal2 would likely push me over . . . especially in a package deal like the $499 K&N/Pedator offering.

Can't comment on the tune but I installed the K&N without the trap (stock tune) and ran it for 1,000 miles. No problems (CEL,etc) but did notice my mileage was about 1 mpg less. Have now run it with the HC trap in for 1,000 and the mpg went back to where it was. IMO, without a tune, its probably running on the lean side, so will leave in until I retune.

If Diablo Sports comes up with a K&N CAI specific tune before SCT, then I'll go with that package deal.

Basically, whomever comes up with the K&N specific tune first, that's who will get my business! Well, assuming the price will be the same at $500.

The C/L SCT X2 pkg. is awesome

Throttle delay is gone and my automatic now chirps them in 2nd and 3rd!!!

Keep us updated, I've been holding out for an X2 K&N tune myself, thats why I didn't get the combo predator k&n at rpm, well that and cash at the time, hehe. I'm sure you will have alot of current K&N owners as new customers once you get a tune available. Especially if you offer a discount to TMS readers *hint* *hint* LOL :banana2:
