Paul - did you get the Magnaflow x-pipes with high flow cats? I STILL have not received mine and am about to cancel and get my $$'s back. How was the fit - did you have to drop the tranny brace and how much clearence between the pipes and floor - especially in the firewall area (exhaust manifold to cats).....
thx - b
Well, lets hear a sound bite.

Smitty, if I had a way to record and knew how to post a clip, believe me I would.
I was perfectly happy with the JBA headers and axleback, until I had the X-pipes installed and saw what I had been missing.

Did you get the whole system from JBA? Headers and Axlebacks I can see you have listed, but is the mid-pipe w/ high flow cats from JBA?

The mid-pipes are the Magnaflows......I believe the same ones that are causing Hotlap so much problems. In fact, Hotlap suggested getting them thru Ninosport, which is where I got them, but I lucked out and received the correct pipes in about three days.

Did the magnaflow x-pipe w/ high flow cats require a seperate tune?

Not sure an answer from me would work for others since I had a tune right after I installed the headers. No CEL light either, at least not for me. I will wait til I've installed the charge motion spacers before I retune. My a/f is right at 13.0, so I doubt a small variance is going to make a difference in a short time frame. If I get a definitive answer for you, I'll let you know.

Creedog, I sent a e-mail to Magnaflow about the X-pipe requiring a tune or not, so lets see what they respond with. Hopefully they will answer the question as I am sure you are not the only one wanting to know.
