x-pipe - h-pipe

0.
It's never been proven that either one flows better. They do have different sounds though. X pipes tend to have a more exotic/racer type sound, while an H-Pipe usually gives you a more muscular nostalgic sound.

When I was having issues with my Flowmasters, I spoke with one of the techs about x-pipes. He said that the only benefit you are gonna get from an x-pipe is if you are running at very high RPM's. Not sure how many of us are running at the redline all day long.
I dont know the technology behind it, but it makes sense.

I doubt there would be much of a difference, maybe 1 hp up at the very peak.
X pipes definitely sound different, a little higher pitched, sometimes raspy.
H pipes sound lower, deeper, and sometimes hollow.

X-pipes improve exhaust scavenging and equalize the exhaust pulses, hence higher horsepower.
