I've had my exhaust for almost a week and noticed a tinney bugle/locust sound every once in a while. I put it up on ramps this morning to check for possible causes and noticed droplets of water around the connection of the X-pipe to muffler legs.
Is this normal condensation or a leak? I didn't really hear any leak with the car at idle.

i have a MAC off-road Prochamber with Flowmasters and i have the same tinny sound you are talking about, but i dont have any leaks though. once i save up some $$$ im getting a set of long tube headers, and an off road h-pipe. i think its the x-pipe that is giving us this darn rice sound.

It's weird that it only happens sometimes. It figures that since I had it up on the ramps it wasn't doing it. Most of the time it sounds great. Anybody know if the drips are a concern?

firedragon- I was under my car yesterday when it was on a lift and a drop of hot water dripped on me around where the x pipe is and I couldnt figure out where it came from. I dont have any leaks anywhere so i dunno what it is but your not the only one.

The sign of dripping means your vehicle is tuned perfectly. If you notice spitting out the exhaust that is normal. I wouldn't worry to much about the x pipe. Condensation travels from the engine, through the headers and down the exhaust. That's the reason you notice dripping from the x pipe.
