Alright, so I have the Magnaflow axlebacks on my car, but I'm looking for a little more attitude from the exhaust side of my car while still remaining emissions legal. I'm under the impression that the XPipes with hi flow cats will still pass them, and add a little more volume at the same time. With that in mind, which one would you guys recommend. Bassani and Magnaflow both look like they have nice pieces.

Bassani, all the way.

I tried the Magnaflow x-pipe first and one of the cats was touching the floorboard. I tried to adjust it several times and could not get the cat down. I even took it to a performance shop and they couldn't fix it. Another problem with installation is that the pipes were to close together. I had to pull them appart about a inch so they would line up with the headers. It also had a loud "locus" type sound that was kind of annoying.

When I got the Bassani x-pipe I still had a bit of trouble with the fit but since there is room for adjustment, I was able to play with it until worked. The hole construction just seems more solid. Another plus is that you can choose to go straight pipe or with cats. If you go straight pipe it will really light those Magnaflow mufflers up.

On a side note, I spoke with a Bassani rep. They said that they have LT headers on the way and that they would fit up to their x-pipe. So you may want to take that into consideration.
