X pipe

Does the x pipe replace the stock cat or is the xpipe instilled after the cat

You can also order it with hi-flow cats for better performance gains and to keep the exhaust note down if you like it quite.

I have a off road x pipe and with a hand held tuner can turn off the rear two o2 sensors so it will take that unwanted engine light off

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Which tuner/tune did you use?

I would say if u want it loud like me ;D, get the off road xpipe but if u dont have money to tune it just save up for it and hold off. If u put the xpipe on without a tune it will throw annoying engine lights on and u wont have any major power gains unless its tuned for it.

If you don't have a tuner yet, just stick with a high flow catted Xpipe, since you will need a tuner to turn off the check engine light and honestly have your PCM dialed in correctly. Keep in mind an O/R Xpipe gets rid of a lot of restriction from deleting the catalytic converts. The free flowing exhaust will play with your fuel trims a bit, but mostly just affect the smoothness of your factory tune.

Just thought some more info would help you make your decision!
