Smile WOW

I just had Kooks long tube headers with an X-Pipe and high flow cats installed. All I can say is WOW the car sounds great. The idle is not far off from stock, but when you step on it the exhaust screams. I also had a Fays Watts link and upper and lower control arms installed. The car seem to handle much better, no more wheel hop and tracks straight when I take off from a stop. I can't wait for the drive to work in the AM.

Congrats on the new sound. Longtubes are an awesome mod. I LOVE mine, and the added power was a bonus, as I did it striclty for the sound. Want to know, how was the install for the Fays2? I am looking to add this to my car, but its totally stock in terms of ride height, and I have no plans on lowering. Is your car lowered at all, or just new control arms? Thanks for the help and enjoy your new sound!

Where did you get the watts link from? Congrats on the headers, one of the best purchases

05,
I did not do the install Ford service did. I think it was a little involved because my car is a convertible. Some mods had to be done to accomodate the extra rienforcement of the convertible. The mechanic said he spoke to Jim Faye numerous times and he helped where he could. My car is not lowered but the only thing is the watts link needs to be adjusted under load. I highly recommened it if you want better handeling in the rear.

Just looked it up, good looking piece. Pretty pricey but i'm sure it's well worth it!

Eagle,
Compared to the Saleen which is around $1,200-$1,300 it's worth it. I was told the Saleen is setup to work with the Saleen suspension. The Fayes is setup to work with your stock suspension and does not mount to the differential cover.

Man, had no idea. Does this work with a lowered car, and/or aftermarket control arms? Wouldn't see why it wouldn't just curious
