WOT A/F Ratio

Hey guys what ratio is a safe or standard a/f at WOT? Also, on my sct tuner would there be any negative side effects to turning the fans down to start at a lower temperature?

Thanks,
Ben

Between 12.5 and 12.9 would be optimal A/F ratio. There's no negative effect to having your fans come on sooner that I can think of.

Some engines are set up(tuned) to run best at a set temp. Sometimes its for emission reasons. I would talk to a good tuner. I use Doug at Bama.

Yes this is true, but the thermostat controls the engine temp. The fan has to do with the radiator temp.
That's why it shouldn't matter. A lower fan temp means the thermostat has cooler coolant available for it from the radiator. That just means the engine is less likely to go over the right temp, the thermostat will always keep it from going under temp.
