That's great news Don. I hope she is even more of a beast than before. Give us an update on how she drives after you blow out the cobwebs.

I'm sure I'll have something to report later tonight or tomorrow.

Well, it seems to run pretty strong, and street drivability is excellent... but my street tires don't have a chance. hehe

But it was a hot day, with air temps between 105-110 degrees, so it was running warmer than I liked to see it. With the A/C on, it would hit 230+... yikes!! At one point, I pulled off the road, and used the fan and eH2O pump to cool it down. That worked great. However, around sundown, when it cooled off outside, it ran in the 190-200 range. Much better.

Oh yea... I also got 21.7 mpg on the 80-mile drive back from S.T. Motorsports. Can't complain too much about that!

Great news Don,
Glad to hear all is well. I checked out your list of mods and see you did not upgrade the radiator with your build up. Maybe this is one last item you need to get. Of course with air temps like you discribed I am surprised it didn't run hotter. Best of luck to you and keep us updated when you get her to the track.

Well, those kind of 100+ temps are highly unusual for this part of the country. But, having said that, there will be a larger radiator installed before next summer for sure.

Here is a short video from yesterday afternoon. We were driving through an underpass, so I opened the cutouts for a little LOUD fun. This quick romp was from about 50mph up to about 110mph.

Turn your speakers up for the best effect!! Video - Open Cutouts

As with all videos, it really doesn't do it justice. It is freakin loud in person. I'll probably be racing with them open on Saturday, so we'll also get some vids from outside the car (going down the track).

Congrats on getting it back up and going. I think your passenger enjoyed the romp.

Two passengers... my friend Ed up front with the camera, and my "squealing" wife in the back seat.
