I was looking on TheTireRack.com for winter tire packages for the 05 GT, it says none are available. Is this because the lug pattern on the stock 17" wheels does not match any of their 16" wheels? I was interested in doing a minus one package to shave a few bucks off the set. What gives?

If I'm not mistaken you can't fit the 16" on the front, the calipers are in the way.

I didn't know the brakes were that much bigger on the GT...but you could be right.

So anybody with a GT try to fit 16" wheels yet? Guess I'll have to stay with 17" wheels then, too bad....but it's 55 degrees in Chicago today so maybe I won't need winter tires anyway.
