Whose Supercharger are you using?
Well this might be my next mod but not for awhile. I am interested in what everyone has to say about their power adder.

It would have been cool if you had set up the pole so that you can see who voted what. That way folks can contact TMS members that have a s/c that they are interested in.

Saleen Supercharger
I use the Saleen supercharger and am very happy with it. It has a factory look and gives outstanding power. It doesn't really matter which supercharger you get as long as it is a positive displacement screw design with an intercooler. You can get that with the Saleen, magna charger, KB, FRPP and the Whipple. Stay away from the Roush which is a roots and the centrifugals. You want your power down low in the RPM band and thats where positive displacement has its advantages. I don't think your engine would last too long at high RPM's pushing 12-16 psi of boost from the centrifugals.

You wouldn't want to push 12-16 lbs of boost from any blower thru a stock bottom-end- no matter if its a centri, TS, turbo, etc.
It would be interesting if people who voted not only mentioned which one they prefer, but also the pros and cons (honestly) of their opinion.
Examples:
Centri pros: initial cost, high rpm power, good hp per $ ratio, works with factory hood & motor mounts, etc.
Centri cons: less lowend torque, not as "factory looking", etc.
Saleen pros: looks factory, great lowend torque, nice topend pull, etc.
Saleen cons: less HP per $ ratio, needs either an aftermarket hood or the use of engine lowering mounts to use an aftermarket intake, etc.
Whipple pros: awesome power, cool looks, etc.
Whipple cons: ease of tuning for addt'l mods, price of package, etc.
On and on and on........

I went with the Saleen back in OCT.I am very happy with the proformance and the look and fit of this S/C.First maybe some people had issues with installation but mine went very smooth. My friend and I in his garage took about 11hrs to complete with no hood or firewall interference.AS you can see I went with the WMSracing CAI which I was using before the Saleen .I think it fits and looks great.I added 39lb injectors 8lb pulley and the 95 mm maf from wmsracing along with a local SCT tune on a mustang dyno and dyno'd at 427 rwhp and 404 lbs of torque on stock exshaust with a nice middle of the road tune.A/F arounfd 11.6 .I just love the low end torque for an every day street driver you can't beat this set up.

That's good info!!

whipple, saleen or KB are all good choices. the only downside to the saleen is if you ever plan on building a motor and upping the boost, the saleen loses its effeciency after 14psi or so. the KB and Whipple can go till about 25psi

If I get one (which I probably won't) it would be the Saleen with JDM tunes. I think this would be a very good street set-up and enough for this old fart!

Step 1: Replace "if" with "when".
Step 2: Replace "won't" with "will".
Step 3: Report your estimated install date.
LOL!

In order of favoritism:
Saleen
KB
Roushcharger
Whipple
Procharger (where t f are they in the poll?)
Vortech
Magnacharger
Paxton
Ask the same thing about a 5.0 motor, and the reply would be all kinds of different!
