I have yet to see anything like this seeing as how the mustang finally has the throttle body located at the front of the motor. I think that would be a popular mod if someone came out with it!

You mean something like this. It is designed by CDC, and is supposed to have a pretty sweet engine cover included. I dont have the pic of the engine cover but it is on this site somewhere. emailed them yesterday and they said they hoped for a late april release. You can see the mods they have tho at classicdesignconcepts. I can't wait.
OH and as far as it being cdc's. Here's a quote from there site, other than that I know nothing.

"CDC is well underway with the creation of their 05 Version of their Shaker System. The system will be available two ways one using your factory hood and a CDC supplied trim ring. Or you can opt to purchase the pictured hood if you choose to preserve you factory hood. We will post updates as they are available.

Actually I think you'll find that Profinish-Proglass produces the hood and scoop. I believe the car is Proglass'..not CDC's. Take a look at Profinish-Proglass. I spoke with Terry back on March 7th. He said the shaker will be moved back 3-3 1/2".

Check out the site:

I think you should say shaker style instead of Camaro style. Just sounds a lot better, don't you think?

Do you literally mean a shaker scoop or just a single scoop locate right at the throttle body?

I agree with Acadian...why use the terminology of a DEAD car. Let it rest in peace. Maybe someone will make a hood like the '68 Mustang Cobras...who knows?

For those of you interested in adding a functional hood scoop or are going to get an aftermarket hood with functional hood scoop, what are your thoughts on taking off the air intake all together and leaving the throttle body open to take advantage of that cold air coming straight in from the hole(s) in the hood? You would obviusly need some sort of filter though? Any ideas?
